CMI Level 5 Qualifications in Management Consulting Practice

The CMI Level 5 Qualifications in Management Consulting Practice have been developed by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in partnership with the Management Consultancies Association (MCA), the Institute of Consulting (IC), and leading consultancy organisations. 

What we offer:

  • Level 5 Award, Certificate, and Diploma in Management Consulting Practice to consultants within our client organisations
  • Level 5 Award and Certificate in Management Consulting Practice to any consultant who attends our Developing Your Core Consulting Skills open programme

Elevation Learning - Professional Qualifications

Who are the qualifications for?

The qualifications are designed for individuals, at the outset of their career, wishing to develop their professional consultancy abilities, and who will have the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to drive consultancy activities in a consulting capacity. They will have the professionalism to deliver impact, behave ethically, and demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development.

The qualifications have been designed for professional consultants practising or aspiring management consultants, wishing to formalise or develop their learning and progress on to Associate Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC).

Learners will:

  • Explore fundamental models and theories of professional consulting and their organisational impact
  • Develop skills and techniques that will enable them to apply their learning practically when communicating, coaching, and managing projects
  • Use their professional consulting qualification to progress onto higher levels of study, such as an MBA or Master’s course
  • Accelerate their career development and prospects

What are the qualification benefits?

The qualification enables Learners to:

  • Understand Management Consulting and the mechanisms for its delivery
  • Understand the role of change in Management Consulting, including drivers for change, factors which influence its success, and strategies to respond to barriers which occur
  • Consider how professional codes of conduct and frameworks for consulting influence management consulting practice
  • Understand how to deliver change through Management Consulting

  • Tutor led in-person training courses

  • One-to-one tutor guidance and support, via telephone and video calls

The qualifications have been designed for practising or aspiring Senior Management Consultants, wishing to formalise or develop their learning and progress on to Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC).
